Kerst Canvasdoekje

Deze week geen kaartje dat gemaakt is voor een challenge (hoewel ik wel wil proberen om er vanavond nog eentje te maken, het blijft toch kriebelen...) maar iets wat ik gemaakt heb voor kerstmis. Voor mijn vriend wilde ik namelijk een cadeaubon maken maar dat liep iets uit de hand. In plaats van een simpel geprinte cadeaubon kwam ik aanzetten met een canvasdoekje met kerstfoto's van onze kat met daarin een briefje met waar hij uit kon kiezen.
Het doekje heb ik gemaakt met het papier van SEI 'Christmas mint'. Verder heb ik gebruik gemaakt van twee verschillende kleuren glimmermist (op de bloemetjes en de houten ornamentjes), mijn cricut en diverse plaksteentjes.
Ik hoop dat jullie het leuk vinden om ook eens iets anders van mijn hand te zien. Zelf ben ik in ieder geval wel tevreden over het resultaat en zal ik het ook zeker in de kersttijd weer ophangen!

This week no challengecard from me (although I am trying to make a card tonight, but I really don't know if I can make it in time) but something I made for christmas. I was going to make a giftvoucher for my boyfriend, but things got a little bit to big... Instead of a printed voucher, I made a canvasboard with christmaspictures from our cat with a little note in it with presents he could choose between.
I used the papers from SEI 'Christmas mint'. I also used two different colours of glimmer mist (on the flowers and the wooden stars), my cricut and a lot of stones.
I hope you like this something different from me. I am really glad with the result and I am sure that this little board will come back next year!

Sketch Saturday #82

In de week voor kerst heb ik zomaar ineens een avondje en een hele dag vrij. Helemaal niet zo erg want echt fijn om nu de weg op te gaan is het niet. Ik heb daarom gisterenavond wel de tijd gehad om lekker nog een kaartje te maken. Het is voor de verandering eens geen kerstkaartje geworden. Ik heb de sketch gevolgd van Sketch Saturday. Het afdrukje is van Motivet en heb ik van een collega gekregen, dank je wel Sandy :)! Het papier is al een oudje van K&Company 'Blue Awning'. Natuurlijk heb ik bij deze kaart ook weer gebruik gemaakt van de 'doily lace' pons van Martha Stewart. ik vind het nog steeds de beste aanschaf van dit jaar! Hoogstwaarschijnlijk is dit mijn laatste post voor kerst, dus bij deze allemaal hele fijne kerstdagen, geniet ervan!

In the week before christmas, I am lucky to have an evening and a day off because of the weather here. I really don't mind it, because it's not the ideal situation on the road right now. I made this card yesterday, using the Sketch Saturday sketch. The stamp is from Motivet, a collegue gave me some beautiful prints of it, thank you Sandy! The paper is an oldie: 'Blue Awning' from K&Company. Offcourse I used my 'doily lace' punch from Martha Stewart again. I think that's my best buy this year! I don't think I will be able to post again before christmas, so a merry, merry christmas to all of you, enjoy it!

Just Magnolia - It's Christmas

Deze week is er een erg makkelijke challenge op de Just Magnolia challenge blog: je moet gewoon een kerstkaartje posten. Nou, die hebben we genoeg liggen op dit moment :). Toch heb ik gisteren nog maar een nieuwe kerstkaart gemaakt met een magnlia stempel erop en ik ben erg blij met het resultaat! Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van het Eline Vintage Christmas red&greens blokje waarin hele mooie papiertjes zitten die uitstekend bij elkaar kleuren. Verder vind ik mijn inkleuren met de Copic ook erg leuk geworden. Stiekem zitten er in veel van mijn kerstkaartjes nu toch wat rozetinten: best grappig! Het enige wat ik niet heb gedaan op deze kaart, is een kerstwens op de voorkant zetten, die zit bij deze kaart in het midden. Fijne zondag allemaal!

This week there was a very easy challenge at the Just Magnolia challenge blog: make a christmas card. Well, I've got plenty of christmascard laying on the table right now, so that wasn't a very hard challenge. I've made a christmas card with a new magnolia stamp on it and I am very happy with how the card turned out. I used the Eline Vintage Christmas red&greens paperpad which is full of nice matching christmaspapers. My Copic-colouring also turned out very well. I have a lot of christmas cards with some pink it, that's pretty funny! The only thing I didn't use on this card was a christmas-wish, I put my wishes in the middle of the card. Have a nice sunday!
