Just Magnolia - week 23

This week I have to make a couple of cards for friends and family. Because it was very busy the last couple of weeks I didn't have much time to craft for myself but yesterday I found some time.
A few posts ago I mentioned that I didn't need the nestabilities because of my Cricut. But I bought my first sets of nestabilities (shame on me!). I've bought the petite scalloped ovals, the large deckled rectangles and the borderabilities snowflakes. On this card I've used the last two sets. The borderabilities is some kind of christmasnestabilitie, but I like it ons this card also very much. I used the sketch from Just Magnolia and the papers form Fashionista by Graphic 45.

papers: Fashionista (Graphic 45)
nestabilities: borderabilitie snowflakes, large deckled rectangles

Just Magnolia 22 - embossing

This week I combined a challenge with a card I had to make for a birthday at my work. The last couple of weeks I really enjoy working with my Cuttlebug, so I decided to take part in the Just Magnolia Challenge. This week the theme was: embossing. It could be any type of embossing: dry or heat, with the hand or with a machine. I chose to work with the Cuttlebug. I used whitewash paper: coloured paper with a white topping. You can make the white topping disappear and when you use the Cuttlebug first, you can make the most beautiful designs. I also used my derwent pencils (I've bought some new colours and I haven't used them untill now). I bought the 'Happy Birthday' Stamp there as well. It's from Inkadinkado. Thanks for watching, I have a free day today, I hope you all enjoy your day as well!

Papers: Brenda Walton (K&Company), Whitewash paper (Colorcore)
Stamp: Magnolia, Inkadinkado
Embellishments: flower (Artemio), brad (Artemio), ribbon

Friday Sketchers 68

This week there were a lot of birthdays and other celebrations on the calender. So I had to make a lot of cards for family and friends. I'll send this one to a friend because she moved to a place of her own. I've used the sketch from Friday Sketchers and I added some flowers on it. I've bought the purple plastic flowers in a discount shop last week, but I don't think they look cheap! The paper is from a little paperpad I've bought at the Knotsgekke kaarten- en scrapdagen in Goes. The stamp is a Gorjuss Girl from Sugar Nellie. I've coloured the image with my Copic Markers.
Have a nice evening! I am going to enjoy a lovely free evening followed by a lovely free day after a weekend of hard working!

Papers: unknown paperpad
Stamp: Gorjuss Girls, Sugar Nellie, coloured with Copics

Just Magnolia 20 - Ribbons and Bows

Fijne avond verder!

Last Friday I've bought some new papers. And what's more fun then going to play with your new papers? This week I've chosen an easy challenge: the Just Magnolia challenge. This week you had to use 'Ribbons and Bows' and, like every week, you had to include a Magnolia stamp. With the 'Garden Party' papers from My Minds Eye, this card went into a very happy card! I rarely use the colours yellow and orange but I am happy with the result. Have a lovely evening!

Stamp: Magnolia, coloured with Copic Ciao markers

Create4Fun week 34

Fijne avond!

This time I chose the Create4Fun challenge to play in. The sketch was not very difficult, but lovely to work with. I used my Cricut Cartridge Storybook to make the shapes on my card. They look almost the same as the nestabilities, don't they? I made the scalloped circle and the label this way. I really like the nestabilities (and in my head I am still doubting about buying them) but I also love the way I faked this shapes :) Have a lovely evening.

Friday sketchers 65

Fijne avond verder!

Yesterday I've made this card for the Friday Sketchers blog. I used an old stamp and some left over pieces of June Bug paper from another card I've made a week ago. I think the umbrella is too orange, but I really love my new petaloo flowers. Have a lovely evening!

Just Magnolia 17

It´s going very well the past few days. My head is full of inspiration en making the cards and scraps goes very well too! I am just happy with it and I am glad I can show you another card again. This time another card for the Just Magnolia Challenge blog. Martine made this weeks sketch. It was up to you to make a tag on it or just a tag-shaped paper. It was also an option to put a sentiment on year card. I did the tag and the sentiment because that's a little bit different then the other cards I make. I wish everybody a lovely monday!
